It shall be the purpose of A Medio Camino to connect to the Spanish-speaking community at Kenyon and inform the local community about news stories relating Hispanic issues. This newspaper will also help maintain and improve students’ Spanish skills by both writing and reading various articles, and also by bringing light to the Spanish language both inside and outside of the classroom. Finally, A Medio Camino will foster cultural and linguistic diversity here at Kenyon.

Alpha Delta Phi fraternity fosters a diverse and lively group that betters the community through diversity, leadership, scholarly pursuits, and the development of moral character. Our members are leaders in student government, club and varsity sports, and academic research in addition to our own philanthropic and social events. Our mission is one to aim towards a full and positive experience of growth for both undergraduate and alumni members. This growth pertains to the pursuit of high social, ethical and academic standards, and the encouragement of leadership, community involvement, and literature (creative expression).

Each year, our team, in partnership with the senior class, leads the Senior Class Challenge. The Senior Class Challenge is an annual tradition that involves fun events, Kenyon merch, and philanthropy education. Building Educational and College Opportunities Near Gambier (BEACON) is a college preparation and advising program for first-generation Mount Vernon High School (MVHS) students. Throughout the academic year, Kenyon College students serve as mentors to MVHS students, as MVHS students set and achieve goals for higher education.

During the Fall Semester, Kenyon student participants, called Advisors, will assist MVHS senior participants, called Scholars, with the college application process. We will assign each Advisor a Scholar, with whom they will work one-on-one throughout the semester. Advisors and Scholars will attend 3 in-person tutorials to teach Scholars strategies for every step of the college application process, from filling out FAFSA to writing the personal statement. In addition to the tutorials, Scholars and Advisors will remain in digital correspondence, at Scholars’ needs or, at a minimum, bi-weekly. Advisors will serve as supportive role models, to whom Scholars may direct any college-related questions. Other types of support Scholars will receive are personalized college recommendations, feedback on application components, situational advice, tips on how to adjust to college life, and more.

The mission of Bird Club is to engage Kenyon students in the outdoors specifically through the world of birds. We intend to guide Kenyon students through learning about Ohio’s nature and birds through a variety of activities including nature walks and lectures about ornithology and the Ohio landscape. Students will be taught not just how to identify birds, but also learn about their morphology, lifestyles, and the ways they can be conserved for the future.

The Black Student Union of Kenyon College is a political, social and supportive organization. We seek to understand campus conditions, the campus heartbeat, global situations, and act or react appropriately. This understanding can only be realized through the adamant efforts of an organized group of members dedicated to this purpose. The B.S.U. will strive with resounding tenacity to uphold the dignity of Black peoples everywhere, but especially those on the Hill. We aim to include as many voices within the diaspora as possible, while listening and allowing those outside of the diaspora to contribute as well. Kenyon College’s BSU hopes to serve as a safe and productive environment for all people, regardless of their background.

The Club is dedicated to watching and discussing more technical aspects of film as a medium through some of the medium's most classic creators. We distinguish ourselves from other film clubs on campus through our exclusive screening of the film canon over more contemporary films. We intended to show foreign and under-recognized films in particular. This club will provide a space for cultural and aesthetic exploration through the medium of film.

Blu-Ray Ultimate Frisbee is a strong group of players who love sports but don't love the extreme intensity of varsity sports. We provide an opportunity for individuals to become part of a group that is not only athletic but also provides a sense of community and fosters friendships off the field.
