Canterbury Kenyon, the Episcopal campus ministry, is here to love God together, grow together in faith and welcome all. We work with Harcourt Student Ministry to support the spiritual life of students.

The mission of the Crozier Center for Women is to be a safe space for all people to discuss and think critically about gender and gender identity/expression; to be a presence on campus that addresses issues across the gender spectrum while focusing special attention on marginalized gender experiences (i.e. those of women and transgender/non-binary people); and to provide safer sex programming, information and resources.

Led by two student managers under the direction of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Crozier Center for Women is a living and learning space, which serves as a resource and facility for gender-based programming. Regular programming includes heritage month celebrations, discussions about gender identity and expression, film screenings, and much more. The center also contains a lounge with a diverse collection of games and books, in addition to a dedicated study space.

Greek Council presides over fraternities, sororities and societies. It coordinates social and service activities to promote a sense of purpose and community. Composed of a Presidents Council, Sorority Council, Fraternity Council, and Society Council, the governing structure for Greek Life at Kenyon College drafts and passes legislation pertaining to all aspects of Greek life at Kenyon. This is a departmental organization that is directly supported by the Office of Student Engagement.

As a tutoring and mentorship program, our organization centers Hispanic youth and community empowerment in education. We strive to make educational and community resources more accessible to the Hispanic community of Knox County, particularly given the barriers the Hispanic community encounters as immigrants. Our program prides ourselves in crafting fulfilling, meaningful relationships between Kenyon students and local Hispanic communities. We value reciprocity between Kenyon students and the Mount Vernon Hispanic community, youth academic growth, and culturally-inclusive practices and activities.

Tutors get the opportunity to work with students, kids, and adult learners in the Mount Vernon community. The tutors will learn from our community members and practice Spanish. Tutors are strongly encouraged to care about social topics relevant to the Mount Vernon Hispanic community: particularly, immigration, culturally-diverse teaching practices, educational inequality, and more. Tutors are encouraged but not required to have relevant previous tutoring experience and/or Spanish language skills. Tutors are required to attend at least two sessions every month, unless Leadership decides otherwise on a case-by-case basis. Through this tutoring program, Kenyon students will be exposed to hands-on, direct learning and practice with tutoring a minority community. Particularly, tutors have the opportunity to engage in bilingual and multicultural educational and mentorship practices.

The Kenyon Pealers is an organization which meets weekly on Fridays from 4-5PM to ring (or "peal") the set of ten bells in the Church of the Holy Spirit. The group is traditionally led by students, but all staff, faculty, alumni, visitors, and community members are welcome! Feel free to join us for five minutes or an entire hour as we play scales, patterns, songs, and more. No musical experience required!

At Kenyon College, we believe that athletics serve as a formative and integral part of a student's time spent on campus. Student-athletes represent not only our individual teams but a fostered culture of academic and athletic excellence in line with the expectations of themselves, our institution, and our conference. The Kenyon Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (KSAAC) serves as an avenue through which the Owls can make their voices heard on campus, advocating for themselves and acting as the bridge that connects students with administration. We also engage in creating, modifying, or reacting to NCAC, NCAA, and Kenyon College legislation, employing our unique perspective as student-athletes. Finally, we strive to provide opportunities for student-athletes to serve in leadership roles, practice advocacy, and engage more deeply with athletics to ensure the most fulfilling and impactful Kenyon experience possible.

Kenyon’s Queer Masculinities Society aims to develop community among members of Kenyon College’s LGBTQIA+ community by cultivating discussion, offering a social space, and engaging with (while also celebrating) difference. QMS is an anonymous group established for members of the LGBTQ+ Kenyon community. We build community through events and weekly meetings, and membership is open to all students.

Membership Benefits
Students who are gay, bisexual, transgender, not straight, not cisgender, and/or not sure, and have experienced or been proximal to masculine identity, masculine societal expectations, and/or masculine gender presentations/performances are given the chance to work through their experiences and find support among a community grappling with issues of masculinity, masculine identity, and queer antagonism. Simply put, if you think QMS might be a place for you, it is absolutely a place for you.
